The purpose of this Web-site is to introduce you to National Transmission (NT). NT’s North Austin facility is the largest single transmission shop in the Austin area, in operation since 1980.In January, 2006, we opened our second shop on West Slaughter Lane in South Austin.

We operate our business with a passion for customer service, quality, and integrity. In North Austin, we have a 14,000 square foot facility with over 22 bays. In South Austin, we have a ten-bay, 5,500 square foot facility. Both of our shops have the latest in Web-based information technology and diagnostic technology to give our customers the best possible service. In addition, NT takes great pride in having the cleanest transmission shops in the Austin area.

William Cooper, our General Manager, has been in the automotive service business for over 28 years, and has been with NT for 14 years. He represents the best possible combination of shop management and technical talent. Our rebuilders and shop technicians have been with us for 4 to 13 years.
