National Transmission has confidence in the high quality of its work and backs its automatic transmission rebuilds with the finest warranty in the business at no addition to its standard price! After your transmission is repaired at National Transmission, you can drive away with complete peace of mind.

All our automatic transmission rebuilds for our retail and garage customers come with our exclusive nationwide 3 year/36,000 mile (whichever occurs first) Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty provides 100% parts and labor coverage on our work, and, in addition, includes a limited towing allowance. We offer our nationwide 3 year/36,000 mile Limited Warranty as a standard benefit for our retail and garage customers. This coverage is unsurpassed in the Austin area.

National Transmission’s warranty is much broader and more beneficial than the one many transmission shops use from the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA). It is also at least 3 times longer than those most of our competitors offer as their standard warranty. For our Garage customers, we offer our 3 year/36,000 mile Limited Warranty when we perform the complete automatic transmission rebuild and the transmission’s removal and re-installation or to qualified garages as an option on a bench job for a small price increase. Our 1 year/12,000 mile Limited Warranty is standard on all “bench jobs” where a garage removes and re-installs the vehicle’s automatic transmission. This reduction in warranty coverage is because we don’t have control over the quality of the transmission’s removal and installation, and especially over the proper flushing of the transmission fluid cooler lines.

In the case of automatic transmission rebuilds for our Dealer and Fleet Operators, we offer our 1 year/12,000 mile Limited Warranty subscribed to by all ATRA members. Like all our warranties, this plan is valid anywhere within the continental United States.

For standard transmission rebuilds and clutch replacements, we offer a 6 month/6,000 mile nationwide Limited Warranty.

Note that all National Transmission Limited Warranties require our customers to perform and document periodic service on their automatic transmissions to maintain the validity of our Limited Warranty.

In addition, please note that there are a very few (mostly imported) vehicles where the original vehicle manufacturer’s (OEM) warranty on its transmission is only 1 year or 12,000 miles. We cannot offer a longer warranty than the OEMs do on these units. Thus we will continue offering our 1 year/12,000 mile limited warranty on our rebuilds of these transmissions.
